Community Guidelines

Prysm is built for people who are serious about finding real connections. These guidelines exist to keep our community safe, respectful, and intentional.

Be Respectful

Treat every person with dignity. Behind every profile is a real human being with real feelings. Disagreements happen, but cruelty never will.

• No harassment, bullying, or intimidation
• No hate speech or discrimination of any kind
• No unsolicited sexual content or messages
• No threats, violence, or dangerous behavior

Be Genuine

Authenticity is the foundation of real connection. Represent yourself honestly.

• Use real, recent photos of yourself
• Don’t impersonate another person
• Be honest about your intentions and what you’re looking for
• Don’t create fake or duplicate accounts

Be Safe

Your safety matters more than anything else on this platform.

• Don’t share other people’s personal information
• Report any behavior that makes you feel unsafe
• Meet in public places for first dates
• Tell a friend where you’re going when meeting someone new
• Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, it probably is

No Spam or Scams

• Don’t use Prysm to promote products, services, or other apps
• Don’t solicit money or financial information from other users
• Don’t send repetitive or automated messages
• Don’t attempt to redirect users to external websites or platforms

The 3-Strike System

We take enforcement seriously. Prysm uses a clear, transparent, 3-strike system:

• Strike 1: A warning with a clear explanation of what happened and which guideline was violated
• Strike 2: A temporary account suspension with a countdown timer
• Strike 3: Permanent removal from Prysm

Severe violations (threats, sharing intimate images without consent, or any involvement of minors) result in an immediate permanent ban with no prior warning.

If you believe a strike was issued in error, you may submit an appeal. Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days.

Reporting

If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, report it immediately through the app. You can report a user from their profile or from within a conversation. All reports are reviewed by our team and kept confidential.

Our Commitment
